The Jerusalem Society for Holocaust Survivors is a non-profit organization that provides essential support to survivors from former Soviet Union living in Jerusalem. It works to ensure they are not forgotten and receive the care they need.
What we do

Social Connection
Organising regular gatherings and activities to promote social interaction and to build a community

Providing Help
Distributing donated goods and gifts, gathering funds to provide medical assistance, organising Hebrew lessons and more

Promote public legisation
Organising open forums with Knesset members, work with City Hall of Jerusalem to promote services for Holocaust survivors in the city

Building a technology bridge between generations
The last couple of weeks, on Sundays, we meet with the youth of our organization in the cultural center “Harmony”. 18.04.2023 Ballet Magnificat! in Israel: Holocaust Remembrance and Heroism Day
On April 18th, more than 450 members of our organization gathered for a touching event dedicated to Holocaust Remembrance and Heroism Day. We held a ceremony in memory of the 6 million Jews who died during the Holocaust, and in particular the 2.7 million Jews who died in the Soviet Union.
