Holocaust survivors, residents of the VERT Jerusalem Hotel, celebrated the 100th birthday of Zhenia Privorotsky!
Zhenia Privorotsky was born in 1922 in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine. At the beginning of World War II, Zhenia studied economics in Moscow. Immediately after that, she was evacuated to the city of Kirov and worked as an economist at an aircraft manufacturing plant. She often spent her evenings working at the production.
The relatives of the family who remained in her hometown in Ukraine shared the tragic fate of the city’s Jews. After the war, Zhenya lived in Moscow, where she was married, gave birth, and raised two wonderful sons.
