On April 30, we were lucky to host our friends from Poland, from the Together Again Foundation. We opened the event with the song “Shalom Aleichem” and light snacks. Then the chairman of the association, Yakov Lieberman, made a speech and sincerely thanked all the guests. Our dear guests from Poland shared with us a touching project in which Polish children dedicated a drawing to each survivor.
The participant of the event noted: “I was very happy to receive a drawing of the Tree of Life. This is a message full of hope and meaning.” At the end of the event, we danced to Jewish melodies familiar to all of us, the heritage of Jewish and Israeli culture.
